Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

ResearchCycles Press upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All editors, authors, and reviewers involved in the Book Series and Individual Books must adhere to the ethical principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring transparency, responsibility, and honesty throughout the editorial process.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authors must submit only original works that have not been published elsewhere or are under consideration by another publisher.
  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources, collaborators, and funding agencies are mandatory.
  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or any form of unethical conduct will result in immediate rejection and potential institutional notification.
  • All authors must have significantly contributed to the research and the writing of the manuscript.
  • Conflicts of interest must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Editors must evaluate submissions solely on academic merit, regardless of gender, race, institutional affiliation, or ideology.
  • Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers’ recommendations, scientific soundness, and alignment with the editorial scope.
  • Editors must ensure confidentiality during the peer review process and prevent any misuse of unpublished materials.
  • Any ethical concern or complaint will be addressed following the COPE flowcharts and guidelines.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
  • They must declare any conflict of interest and decline participation if unable to review impartially.
  • Reviewers must respect the confidentiality of the review process and not use or disclose unpublished content.

4. Research Integrity and Misconduct

  • All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using recognized detection tools before peer review.
  • In cases of suspected misconduct, the editorial board will initiate an investigation consistent with COPE recommendations.
  • Retractions, corrections, or expressions of concern will be issued when necessary to maintain the integrity of the academic record.

5. Ethical Oversight

  • Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must include ethical approval and informed consent.
  • Data sharing and transparency are encouraged, in accordance with international open research practices.
