Plagiarism Policy

ResearchCycles Press maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and all forms of academic misconduct. To ensure the originality and integrity of its publications, every manuscript submitted to the Book Series and Individual Books collections is screened for plagiarism before being sent to peer review.

1. Verification Tools

The editorial team uses professional plagiarism detection software such as iThenticate, Turnitin, or Crossref Similarity Check to compare each submission against an extensive database of academic publications, theses, and web sources.

2. Similarity Threshold

  • A similarity index of up to 15% is generally acceptable when attributed to correctly cited and paraphrased content.
  • Textual coincidences exceeding this percentage, or unreferenced verbatim passages, will trigger a detailed editorial investigation.
  • If confirmed, authors will be asked to provide explanations or to revise the manuscript to eliminate non-original content.

3. Editorial Actions in Case of Plagiarism

  • The manuscript may be rejected outright.
  • In severe cases, the authors’ institutions may be notified, and the names blacklisted from future submissions.
  • If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the editorial board will retract or issue a correction notice in accordance with COPE guidelines.

4. Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all data, figures, and citations are properly referenced. Submitting a manuscript implies acceptance of this plagiarism detection policy and consent to screening.

ResearchCycles Press reaffirms its commitment to uphold academic ethics, transparency, and the credibility of scientific publishing.
