Peer Review Process

Book Series

All manuscripts submitted to the ResearchCycles Book Series undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, methodological rigor, and scientific relevance.

After an initial editorial screening to verify compliance with submission guidelines and ethical standards, each manuscript is assigned to two or more independent reviewers with recognized academic credentials in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the work according to the following criteria:

  • Originality and contribution to the field
  • Theoretical and methodological soundness
  • Clarity of writing and logical organization
  • Adequacy of data analysis and interpretation
  • Consistency with academic ethics and citation norms

The review process typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks and follows an anonymous double-blind model, where neither the author(s) nor the reviewers know each other’s identity. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editorial Board may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript without modifications
  • Accept it with minor or major revisions
  • Request a new submission after substantial revision
  • Reject the manuscript

Reviewers’ comments are communicated confidentially to the authors to support constructive academic improvement. All final decisions are approved by the Editor-in-Chief and the Book Series Editorial Board.

Individual Books

The ResearchCycles Individual Books collection applies the same rigorous double-blind peer review model as the Book Series. Each manuscript—whether a single-author monograph or an edited volume—is evaluated to ensure that it meets international academic and ethical standards.

The review process consists of two stages:

  • Preliminary Editorial Evaluation: verification of structure, thematic relevance, ethical compliance, and adherence to submission guidelines.
  • Double-Blind Peer Review: two or more external experts independently assess the content, methodology, and scholarly contribution of the work.

Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise and publication record. Their reports determine the editorial outcome: acceptance, revision, or rejection. In the case of edited volumes, each chapter may undergo individual review to ensure consistent academic quality.

Once revisions are completed and approved, the final version of the book is prepared for publication under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief and the Scientific Editorial Board. The entire process upholds transparency, impartiality, and scholarly excellence.
