Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

Please read carefully the following instructions before submitting your manuscript to the Researchcycles Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (RJMS).

1. Submission Portal

Manuscripts should be submitted online through the journal’s submission system at: https://researchcycles.press/journal/index.php/rjms/about/submissions

2. Preparation Checklist

Prior to submission, authors must ensure that:

  • The work is original and is not under consideration by another journal or previously published.
  • The manuscript adheres to the journal’s scope and meets the academic standards of RJMS.
  • All authors are correctly listed with their institutional affiliations and, when available, ORCID iDs.
  • The manuscript follows the formatting, referencing style, and structure described in the Author Guidelines.
  • All figures and tables are numbered and labeled; permissions for third-party material are obtained.

3. Submission Types

RJMS currently accepts the following publication types:

  • Original research articles
  • Reviews and theoretical studies

Additional publication types may be introduced in the future.

4. Uploading Files

Submit your manuscript as a single file in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or OpenOffice format (.odt). After review, we may request an editable version (Word or LaTeX) and high-resolution image files.

5. Fees and Charges

RJMS operates under an open access model. An Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply after acceptance to cover editorial, production, and publication costs. The specific fee and payment terms will be clearly communicated to authors before publication. Submission and peer-review are free of charge.

6. Peer Review and Publication Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, handled by independent experts. The editorial decision is entirely independent of any fee payment. Upon acceptance, a DOI will be assigned and the article will be published online under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Privacy Statement

Researchcycles Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (RJMS), published by Researchcycles Press, respects the privacy and confidentiality of all authors, reviewers, and readers. This Privacy Statement describes how we collect, process, and protect personal information in compliance with international data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of the United States.

1. Data Collection

We collect only the data necessary for the proper functioning of the editorial and publication process. This may include:

  • Personal identification (name, affiliation, country, email, ORCID).
  • Information contained in manuscript submissions and communications between authors, reviewers, and editors.
  • Technical information, such as IP address and browser type, used solely for security and analytics purposes.

2. Purpose of Processing

The data collected are used exclusively for:

  • Managing manuscript submissions, peer review, and publication.
  • Editorial communication and correspondence with authors and reviewers.
  • Indexing, archiving, and citation of published articles.
  • Maintaining the academic and ethical integrity of the journal.

We do not sell, rent, or disclose personal data for commercial purposes. Data are never shared with third parties unrelated to the editorial process without explicit consent.

3. Legal Basis

Personal data are processed under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Consent of the data subject.
  • Performance of a contract (editorial and publishing obligations).
  • Legitimate interest of the publisher in maintaining editorial operations and integrity.

4. Data Retention

Personal data are retained only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above. Manuscript and reviewer data are stored for a minimum of five (5) years after publication or editorial decision, following international publishing best practices.

5. Rights of Individuals

Authors, reviewers, and readers have the right to:

  • Access their personal data.
  • Request rectification or deletion of their data.
  • Request restriction of processing or object to processing.
  • Request data portability, where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Requests may be submitted to privacy@researchcycles.press, and will be addressed within 30 days in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Data Transfers and International Processing

Personal data may be processed in the United States and, where applicable, transferred to other countries with adequate data protection safeguards. Researchcycles Press ensures compliance with international data transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Data Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access, and regular system audits.

8. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies solely for essential site functionality and anonymous analytics. Users can disable cookies in their browser settings without affecting access to content.
